Multilingual Program
We understand how daunting a new environment can be, particularly for EAL children. At Happy Land ECC our teachers share daily routines and associated keywords that parents can practice at home with their children to assist in settling in.
UAE Culture and Heritage
We are proud of our positioning in Dubai and the UAE and ensure that our projects reflect our context wherever possible. For example, our play areas feature items from the local culture including Arab family dolls and houses. We learn about local festivals, architecture, landscapes and culture and embrace the Arabic language at every opportunity. We know that for many third culture kids, the UAE is the only home they have ever known and so we explore what it means to call this great nation home.
Music Programme
We offer weekly music classes that use songs, games, storytelling and drama to develop children’s confidence, creativity and communication and language skills. They also support Maths development through the exploration of rhythm and patterns for truly active learning.
Movement Programme
With our specialist teacher, we focus on developing gross motor skills including balance, coordination, spatial awareness and body control. We also develop an appreciation of sports and the importance of teamwork, healthy lifestyles and the development of resilience.
